MSI brings NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 graphics to its new WS65 workstation
MSI is joining NVIDIA'due south new RTX Studio initiative with its latest round of mobile workstations. At Computex 2022, the PC maker unveiled a full refresh of its mobile workstation lineup, bringing new versions of the WS and WE series, and debuting the new WP serial.
Each of MSI's updated workstations now features NVIDIA's new Quadro RTX graphics chips, which put much more power in the hands of content creators. They're also outfitted with Intel Core i9 CPUs to give their processing power a boost. MSI says that revamps include a "slimmer and lighter" blueprint across the total lineup, along with "ultra-thin" bezels and 4K display options.
The real highlight here, however, is the new WS65, which sits at the very elevation of MSI's workstation range. A variety of configurations are bachelor, but the WS65 will tiptop out with a model that features Intel'south Core i9-9880H processor with 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage. The xv.6-inch brandish includes resolution options ranging up to 4K and NVIDIA'south whole line of Quadro RTX GPUs are available, up to the Quadro RTX 5000 with 16GB of VRAM.
As part of the NVIDIA RTX Studio program, the new workstations will become NVIDIA'due south Studio drivers, which are tested to ensure they work well with popular creative apps and multi-app workflows. MSI has besides ISV certified each model for work with AutoCAD, ANSYS, SolidWorks, and more.
The start of these new workstations to launch is the MSI WS65, which is up for preorder on Newegg now for $3,500 with a release date of June 14.
